Initial protection of the civilian population in the Czech Republic when chemical weapons are used

Anotácia:

Uvedená bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem prvotní ochrany civilního obyvatelstva v České republice při napadení chemickými zbraněmi hromadného ničení. V teoretické části je práce zaměřena na historii a rozdělení bojových chemických látek (dále jen BCHL) podle charakteristických chemických skupin včetně jejich zástupců. Dále se uvedená bakalářská práce zabývá prostředky individuální ochrany obyvatel (dále jen PIO) při napadení, historie prostředků a rozdělení prostředků prvotní ochrany. V praktické části bude provedeno výzkumné šetření zaměřené na znalosti a informovanost individuální ochrany obyvatel České republiky. Zvolenou metodou je dotazníkové šetření, které je rozdělené do pěti věkových kategorií a následně bude výzkumné šetření rozdělené do dvou věkových generací. Vyhodnocená data poslouží k vyhodnocení informovanosti obyvatel, názoru respondentů na situaci dané problematiky a schopnostem využití prostředků individuální ochrany při napadení chemickými bojovými látkami. Cílem práce je díky získaným datům porovnat informovanost obyvatel mezi věkovými kategoriemi před rokem 1989 a po roce 1989. Tím se soustředit na možné úvahy v oblasti problematiky připravenosti prvotní ochrany prostředků individuální ochrany.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of primary protection of the civilian population in the Czech Republic in the event of an attack by chemical weapons of mass destruction. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the history and distribution of chemical warfare agents (hereinafter referred to as CW agents) according to characteristic chemical groups including their representatives. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the means of individual protection of the population (hereinafter referred to as PIO) during an attack, the history of the means and the distribution of the means of primary protection. In the practical part, a research investigation will be carried out on the knowledge and awareness of individual protection of the population of the Czech Republic. The chosen method is a questionnaire survey, which is divided into five age categories and then the research survey will be divided into two age generations. The evaluated data will be used to assess the awareness of the population, the opinion of the respondents on the situation of the given issue and the ability to use means of individual protection in case of attack by chemical warfare agents. The aim of the work is to compare the awareness of the population between the age categories before 1989 and after 1989. Thus, to focus on possible considerations in the field of the issue of preparedness of initial protection means of individual protection.
