Tato bakalářská práce seznamuje s problematikou bipolární afektivní poruchy. V teoretické části práce je popisována samostatná bipolární porucha, její historie, symptomatika, diagnostika a léčba. Dále zde byla zmíněna specifika péče o nemocné s tímto duševním onemocněním. V praktické části je popsána kazuistika pacienta, hospitalizovaného s tímto onemocněním na psychiatrickém oddělení. This bachelor thesis introduces problems of bipolar affective disorder. In the theoretical part of the thesis is described independent bipolar disorder, its history, symptomatics, diagnostics and treatment.
