Possibilities of DNA extraction from skeletal remains
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na metody extrakce DNA z kosterních ostatků. Popisuje klasické protokoly, které se používaly od 80. let 20. století, i komerčně vyráběné kity prosazující se v dnešní době. Součástí práce je shrnutí a porovnání vlastností jednotlivých metod i kitů, což má za cíl usnadnit orientaci ve velkém množství používaných postupů a ušetřit tak cenný čas.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the method of DNA extraction from skeletal remains. Not only does it describe the classical records that have been in use since the 1980s but it also makes reference to the up-to-date kits made commercially. A comparison of features of particular methods and kits is a part of the thesis. This should facilitate the orientation to the great number of methods used.
