The diagnostics of the lexical and semantic level of the speech

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá oblastí diagnostiky specificky narušeného vývoje řeči u dětí v předškolním věku. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty základní informace o specificky narušeném vývoji řeči, jeho etiologii, symptomalologii a možnostech a metodách diagnostiky. Jsou uvedeny vývojové charakteristiky období předškolní věk a specifika vývoje komunikační schopnosti v tomto období. Praktická část práce obsahuje popis, analýzu a komparaci výsledků provedeného Heidelberského testu vývoje řeči ve čtyřech subtestech. Dosažené výsledky šetření ukazují rozdíly ve vývoji nabývání jazykových schopností u dětí intaktních a dětí s narušenou komunikační schopností. Je doplněna dvěma případovými studiemi předškolních dětí navštěvujících běžnou mateřskou školu nebo logopedickou třídu mateřské školy, analýzu a popsání úrovně jejich jazykových schopností, tak jak byly hodnoceny při provedení části Heidelberského testu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the area of diagnosis of specific language impairment at pre-school age children. In the theoretical part, there are basic information about specific language impairment, about its etiology, symptomatology and possibilities and methods of diagnosis. Developmental characteristics of pre-school period as well as specificities in speech development in this period are mentioned here as well. The practical part of the thesis includes a description of performed testing, analysis of reached results and comparison of results from the Heidelberg Language Development Test consisting of four subtest. Reached results of the examination show differences in a development of obtaining language skills at intact children and at children with impaired communication ability. It also includes two case studies of pre-school children attending common or logopedic class in kindergarten, analysis and description of their level of language abilities, as they were evaluated during the realization of a part of the Heidelberg Test.
