Occupational therapy in patients of the Psychiatric Hospital of Horní Beřkovice

Abstract:

Část teoretická uvádí poznatky popisující schizofrenii, její průběh a etiologii. Dále specifikuje ergoterapii a jiné léčebné metody, užívající se při práci se schizofrenním pacientem. Ve druhé části je popsána případová studie, která zahrnuje popis anamnézy, metodiky a ergoterapeutické intervence prováděné s konkrétním pacientem. Na základě vstupního hodnocení byl stanoven krátkodobý ergoterapeutický plán, dle kterého byly intervence realizovány. V průběhu terapií bylo provedeno kontrolní ergoterapeutické hodnocení. Po ukončení terapeutických intervencí bylo uskutečněno výstupní ergoterapeutické hodnocení a následně zhotoven dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán. V závěru práce došlo ke shrnutí základních poznatků a výsledků vyplývajících z provedené studie.

Abstract:

The theoretical part presents knowledge describing schizophrenia, its course and etiology. It also specifies occupational therapy and other treatment methods used when working with a schizophrenic patient. The second part describes a case study, which includes a description of the anamnesis, methodology and occupational therapy intervention performed with a particular patient. Based on the initial evaluation, a short-term occupational therapy plan was determined, according to which the interventions were implemented. A control occupational therapy evaluation was performed during the therapies. After the completion of therapeutic interventions, an output occupational therapy evaluation was performed and subsequently a long-term occupational therapy plan was prepared. At the end of the work there was a summary of basic knowledge and results resulting from the study.
