Abstract:

Wattrouter (PV Power Diverter) je elektronické zařízení umožňující domácnosti (maloodběrateli) využívat veškerou nadvýrobu z vlastní fotovoltaické elektrárny v případě, že není žádoucí přetok elektrické energie do distribuční sítě. Wattrouter sleduje spotřebu energie domácnosti a jakmile zaznamená nadvýrobu energie do sítě, začne vhodně spínat vyhrazený spotřebič či spotřebiče (postupně podle priority) a tak udržuje energetickou bilanci domácnosti na nule. V reálném provozu bylo zjištěno a prakticky ověřeno, že standardní wattroutery spínají vyhrazené spotřebiče po periodách (jedna či více period zapnuto, jedna či více period vypnuto) a zajišťují tak, aby spotřebič odebíral právě energii odpovídající aktuální nadvýrobě. Vyhrazenými spotřebiči mohou být jen ty, které takovouto regulaci příkonu umožňují, typicky ohmické tepelné zdroje (ohřívač a zásobník teplé vody). Maximální příkon vyhrazeného spotřebiče/spotřebičů (daný ohmickým odporem) musí být stejný nebo vyšší než nejvyšší předpokládaná nadvýroba. Během period sepnutí čerpá spotřebič energii z nadvýroby a potřebný zbytek energie doplňuje odběrem ze sítě. Během period, kdy je spotřebič vypnutý, naopak nadvýroba do sítě přetéká a vrací tak zpět energii ze sítě odebranou v periodách sepnutí. Stávající wattroutery takto využívají dlouhého integračního okna elektronických fakturačních elektroměrů (přibližně 1 s). V rámci této integrační doby wattrouter zajišťuje nulovou energetickou bilanci odběrů a přetoků. Elektroměr proto není schopen fyzické přetoky do sítě registrovat. Zamezení přetoků energie z domácnosti do sítě je tak pouze virtuální. Z výše popsaného vyplývá, že v průběhu proudu při činnosti wattrouteru dochází na rozhraní sítě a domácnosti ke střídání odběrových a přetokových period v různém poměru v závislosti na aktuální výši nadvýroby a příkonu spínaného spotřebiče. Objevuje se tak velké množství frekvenčních složek proudového signálu na širokém intervalu. Fyzické přetoky energie jako nedílná součást principu činnosti a potenciálně problematické zanášení širokého frekvenčního proudového spektra do sítě jsou zásadními nedostatky současných wattrouterů. Proto byl navržen a realizován wattrouter s odlišným způsobem řízení. K regulaci spotřeby je použit napěťový AC/AC měnič s proměnným výstupním napětím o síťové frekvenci. V případě nadvýroby udržuje wattrouter změnou výstupního napětí přetok do distribuční sítě na nule. AC/AC měnič je realizován jako AC chopper s PWM modulací síťového napětí o frekvenci 62,5 kHz se vstupním a výstupním filtrem.

Abstract:

A wattrouter is an electronic device that allows a household (small consumer) to use all the excess generation from its own photovoltaic power plant when an overflow of electricity to the grid is not desired. The wattrouter monitors the household's energy consumption and if it detects an overflow of energy to the grid, it starts switching the dedicated appliance(s) appropriately (in order of priority), thus keeping the household's energy balance at zero. It has been observed and practically verified in real operation that existing wattrouters switch the dedicated appliance in periods (one or more periods on, one or more periods off) and ensure that the appliance draws just the energy corresponding to the current overproduction. Dedicated appliances can only be those that allow such power control, typically ohmic heat sources (hot water heater and hot water tank). The maximum input power of the dedicated appliance(s) (given by the ohmic resistance) has to be equal to or higher than the highest expected overproduction. During the switch-on period, the appliance draws part of its energy from the overproduction but supplements the rest of the energy by drawing from the grid. During periods when the appliance is switched off, on the other hand, the overproduction flows to the grid, so returning the energy taken from the grid during the switch-on periods. Existing watt meters thus take advantage of the long integration window of electronic billing meters (approximately 1s). Within this integration period, the wattmeter ensures a zero-energy balance of draws and overflows and the meter is therefore unable to register physical overflows to the grid. The prevention of energy overflows from the household to the grid is thus only virtual. It follows from the above that during the operation of the wattmeter, the periods of drawdown and overflow alternate in different proportions depending on the current level of overproduction and the input power of the switching appliance. Thus, many frequency components of the current signal appear over a wide interval. Physical power overflows as an integral part of the operating principle and the potentially problematic fouling of a wide frequency current spectrum into the network are major shortcomings of current watt-transmitters. Therefore, a wattrouter with a different control method was designed and implemented. An AC/AC voltage converter with a variable output voltage at mains frequency is used to control the power consumption. In case of overproduction, the wattrouter keeps the overflow to the distribution network at zero by varying the output voltage. The AC/AC converter is implemented as an AC chopper with PWM modulation of the mains voltage at 62,5 kHz with input and output filters.
