Art Activities as a Means to Development of a Pupil with Multiple Disabilities

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo popsat výtvarné aktivity na základní škole speciální. V první části diplomové práce jsou shrnuty stručné obecné poznatky o klasifikaci postižení více vadami a limitech takového postižení v dětství. Druhá část byla věnována výtvarným aktivitám ve škole, včetně arteterapie a artefiletiky. Poslední teoretická část práce se zabývala vlastním kvalitativním výzkumem včetně volby metodologie a sumarizace výsledků. Výsledky poslední části diplomové práce jsou vhodné k dalšímu zpracování, postup je možné aplikovat i v případě dalších žáků dané školy k zpětné evaluaci účinnosti výtvarných aktivit a naplňování cílů vedoucích k rozvoji žáka pomocí výtvarných činností.

Abstract:

The purpose of the thesis was to describe the art activities at a special basic school. The first part briefly summarizes the theoretical findings about the general classification of multiple disabilities in children and describes the limitations of the disability. The second part was devoted to art activities at school including the art therapy and artephiletics. The last theoretical part deals with qualitative research, including methodology and summarization of findings. The last part of the thesis shows the findings that are appropriate for further processing and the research plan may also be applied in the case of other pupils at another school. Moreover, the research bases might provide and evaluate useful feedback about the effectivity of the creative art activities. Nevertheless, findings may also show the level of achieving the objectives that have been aimed to the pupil development by using the art activities.
