Possibilities of using the army in crisis management of public administration in the Olomouc region

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá problematikou možností využití Armády ČR při krizovém řízení veřejné správy. Jedná se o aktuální téma, kterému je třeba věnovat dostatečnou pozornost na teoretické i praktické úrovni. Cílem práce je vyhodnotit efektivnost zapojení Armády České republiky při pomoci s krizovou situací či mimořádnou událostí. Práce obsahuje teoretickou i praktickou část, přičemž teoretická část je rešerší odborné relevantní literatury a dalších zdrojů, které přímo souvisí s daným tématem. Praktická část spočívá v realizaci dotazníkového šetření, jehož otázky jsou nastaveny takovým způsobem, aby vedly k naplnění cíle práce, tedy vyhodnocení možností k využití sil a prostředků Armády ČR, které má veřejná správa v okamžiku mimořádné či krizové situace.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the problematics of the usage of the Czech Army in the field of crisis management of the civil service. As such, it is a topical theme which needs to be scrutinised on both, theoretical level and the practical one, too. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the level of efficiency of the involvement of the Czech Army in dealing with either the emergency or non-standard situation. The thesis contains both the theoretical and practical part, while the former is represented by the research of the relevant literature and sources which are directly connected to the main theme. The latter is based on questionnaire survey, the questions of which are put in the manner to meet the objectives of the thesis. More precisely, it is based on evaluation of options and suggestions for the use of sources and resources of the Czech Army, which the civil service has in the event of the emergency or non-standard situation.
