Medieval Pottery Production Center specialized in the Manufacture of Oil Lamps in the Kutna Hora
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá vyhodnocením výzkumu středověkého hrnčířského centra specializovaného na výrobu tyglíkovitých lampiček v Kutné Hoře. Těžiště práce je ve statistickém vyhodnocení nalezeného souboru lampiček ze 14. století a shromáždění ikonografických vyobrazení. Stručně se práce věnuje tématu dějin osvětlení ve středověkých Čechách.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of research of medieval pottery center specialized in the manufacture of oil lamps in the Kutná Hora. The focus of this work is found in the statistical evaluation of set of oil lamps from 14. century and iconographic images. The work briefly deals with the history of illumination in medieval Bohemia.
