Births in pre-hospital emergency care from the perspective of paramedic students

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá porodem v přednemocniční neodkladné péči z pohledu studentů zdravotnického záchranáře. V teoretické části je popsána anatomie ženských pohlavních orgánů, dále vznik a vývoj těhotenství, klasifikace porodu, kompetence zdravotnického záchranáře u porodu a v neposlední řadě je popsán průběh studia zdravotnických záchranářů a kvalifikační standardy pro výkon jejich budoucího povolání. V průzkumné části je zkoumáno, zda jsou studenti zdravotnického záchranáře schopni vyhodnotit a vést porod v podmínkách přednemocniční neodkladné péče a ošetřit matku i novorozence. Výzkumný soubor byl tvořen studenty studijního programu Zdravotnický záchranář na konkrétní vysoké škole a cílem bylo zjistit, zda studenti dokážou aplikovat nabyté znalosti při řešení modelové situace porodu v terénu.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of childbirth in pre-hospital emergency care from the point of view of paramedic students. The theoretical part describes the anatomy of the female genital organs, the origin and development of pregnancy, the classification of childbirth, the competence of a paramedic during childbirth, and last but not least, the course of study of paramedics and the qualification standards for the performance of their future profession are described. The exploratory part examines whether paramedic students are able to evaluate and manage childbirth in the conditions of pre-hospital emergency care and treat both mother and newborn. The research group was formed by students of the Paramedic study program at a specific university, and the goal was to find out whether students can apply the acquired knowledge when solving a model birth situation in the field.
