This diploma thesis deals with Arab Spring and economic policy in Egypt and Tunisia. It explains the situation in countries prior, during, and post-revolution. The main focus is on reforms implemented or recommended by international institutions, as well as on monetary and fiscal policy and economic situation in each of the three periods. Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá Arabskou jarou a hospodárskou politikou v Egypte a v Tunisku. Popisuje situáciu krajín pred, počas a po tejto revolúcii. Hlavne to, aké reformy boli v krajinách vykonávané, či odporúčané medzinárodnými inštitúciami, ďalej monetárnu a fiškálnu politiku a ekonomickú situáciu v každom z troch období.
