Abstract:

Regionální konkurenceschopnost je považována za významnou problematiku, neboť je jednou z nejsledovanějších charakteristik národních ekonomik a čím dál více se objevuje v hodnoceních jejich blahobytu, prospěchu a životní úrovně.Cílem bakalářské práce je objasnění pojmu regionální konkurenceschopnost, dále potom analýza a aplikace vybraných metod hodnocení regionální konkurenceschopnosti podle Evropské unie na zvolený region soudržnosti Severozápad, který se skládá z Karlovarského a Ústeckého kraje.V teoretické části jsou zpracované informace z odborných publikací a internetových zdrojů související s regionální konkurenceschopností a jejím hodnocení podle metodiky Evropské unie, se zaměřením především na faktory, jež jí ovlivňují a na metody hodnocení regionální konkurenceschopnosti. Veškeré použité publikace jsou citovány dle citačních norem a zároveň jsou uvedeny v seznamu použitých zdrojů.Vlastní část práce nejprve analyzuje hodnoty vybraných ukazatelů, kterých dosahovaly jednotlivé regiony soudržnosti ČR ve sledovaných obdobích, poté tyto hodnoty prakticky aplikuje ve vybraných metodách hodnocení regionální konkurenceschopnosti. V závěru práce jsou vyhodnoceny výsledky konkurenceschopnosti jednotlivých regionů soudržnosti ČR podle jednotlivých metod. Zároveň jsou zde popsány návrhy řešení na zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti sledovaného regionu soudržnosti Severozápad. V práci jsou použity metody deskripce, komparace a analýzy.

Abstract:

The regional competitiveness is considered to be an important issue as it is one of the most tracked characteristics of national economies. We also recognize its rating is being mentioned in their prosperity, profit and living standard with a higher frequency. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to explain the topic of regional competitiveness, to analyse and discuss the application of selected methods of regional competitiveness rating on coherent region North-west chosen by European Union, which consists of region of Carlsbad and region of Usti nad Labem. The theoretical part consists of compiled information of specialized publications and internet sources related to the regional competitiveness and its rating by methodic of European Union mainly focused on the factors influencing the regional competitiveness and on the methods of its rating. All used publications are quoted with citation standard and they are mentioned in the list of used sources. The main part of the thesis is referring to the analysis of the selected index values which were achieved by every coherent region in Czech Republic at a given time. Afterwards these values are practically applied in the selected methods of rating of regional competitiveness.The final part evaluates the results of the competitiveness of each coherent region of Czech Republic following the particular methods. The suggested solutions of raising the competitiveness of the discussed coherent North-western region are described. We can also find method of description, comparison and analyses in the thesis.
