Diplomová práce se věnuje biografii výše uvedených ruských spisovatelů, tvořících na konci 19. a počátku 20. století. Nejprve rozebírá situaci na evropském kontinentě a v Rusku ze sociálního hlediska a ukazuje vnímání dětí tehdejší společností. Hlavní téma však představuje rozbor čtyř povídek A. P. Čechova a L. N. This diploma work examines the biography of these two famous Russian novelists at the end of nineteenth and at the beginning of 20 twentieth centuries. First of all it explores the situation in Europe and Russia from the social perspective.
