Tato práce se věnuje utváření obrazu Polska a Poláků v období 70. a 80. let v zahraničí ve fotografiích Chrise Niedenthala. Analýza zahrnuje vliv sociálně-politických podmínek na práci fotoreportéra v té době, Niedenthalovu biografii, způsob jeho práce a rozbor vlastností fotografie jako média. Abstract:
The subject of this thesis is how an image of Poland and Poles living in 70s and 80s was shaped abroad by photography of Chris Niedenthal. The dis¬sertation analyzes an impact of factors such as socio-political circumstances and their influence of photo reporters’ work during that time, the bio and ways of working of Niedenthal himself and the features of photography as a medium.
