Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the circumstances of the recent financial crisis and its impact on the economies of countries affected. This thesis primarily focuses on markets in the United States, the European Union and the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the origin of the recent crisis and its biggest impact on these countries. The Practical part covers regulations of the markets affected by the crisis and tries to evaluate the impact of these regulations. The receivables market and its past and future development is provided as an example for understanding the current situation on the market.
