Growth accounting: application to selected economies
Abstract:
In this thesis I study primal and dual approach to growth accounting. I analyze the impact of total factor productivity, the Solow residual, on GDP growth in eight European countries with both approaches and consequently compare them. Results prove high significance of technological progress on economic growth.Abstract:
V tejto bakalárskej práci sa venujem primárnemu a duálnemu prístupu k rastovému účtovníctvu. Analyzujem vplyv súhrnnej produktivity faktorov, tzv. Solowoveho rezídua, na rast HDP v ôsmich krajinách Európy oboma prístupmi a následne ich porovnávam. Výsledky potvrdzujú veľký význam technologického pokroku na ekonomickom raste.
