Development of an initial reading of pre-primary age children

Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se zabývá problematikou rozvoje počátečního čtení u dětí preprimárního věku. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, na část teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na pojmy vztahující se k problematice počátečního čtení, na charakteristiku předškolního vzdělávání a předškolního období dítěte. Úkolem praktické části je vyhodnotit metodickou práci šesti učitelek ze tří mateřských škol, vyhodnotit kvalitu rozvoje počátečního čtení u předškolních dětí ve věku 5-6let.

Abstract:

The present thesis deals with the issue of initial reading development in children of preprimary age. The thesis is divided into two parts, one of them being theoretical, the other empirical. The theoretical part focuses on terms relating to the issue of initial reading, characteristics of preschool education, and preschool period in a child?s life. The aim of the practical part of the thesis is to evaluate methodical work of six teachers in three kindergartens, and to evaluate the quality of initial reading development of preschool, five- to six-year-old children.
