Change in the organization of the transport system in Svitavy

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá organizací dopravy ve vybrané části města Svitavy. První část práce se zaměřuje na analýzu současného stavu. Analyzuje aktuální organizaci dopravy, šířkové uspořádání uličních prostorů, funkce ulic, dopravu v klidu, trasy pro cyklisty i chodce. Na základě analýz, které vycházely zejména z průzkumu území, jsou ve třetí části návrhy na možné zlepšení organizace dopravy v tomto území a následné vyhodnocení návrhových řešení.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with the organisation of traffic in a selected part of the city of Svitavy. The first part of the work focuses on the analysis of current state. It analyses the current organisation of traffic, widths of street space, the function of streets, unmoving traffic, paths for bikes and pedestrians. Based on these analyses, which were mainly based on the survey of the area, the second part contains proposals for possible improvement of the organization of transport in this area and the subsequent evaluation of design solutions.
