Creation of methodical materials for financial education in primary schools

Abstract:

Předmětem diplomové práce Tvorba metodických materiálů pro finanční vzdělávání na ZŠ je vytvoření edukačních materiálů pro sedm vyučovacích hodin týkajících se vybraných témat finančního vzdělávání na ZŠ. První kapitola věnovaná teoretické části seznamuje čtenáře se základní definicí finanční gramotnosti a finančního vzdělávání, popisuje vývoj finančního vzdělávání v ČR a současnou situaci finančního vzdělávání na ZŠ. Zabývá se rovněž standardy finanční gramotnosti a jejich revidovanou verzí a v závěru teoretické části ukazuje, jak je finanční gramotnost koncipována v RVP ZV a v ŠVP na MZŠ Hnojník. Druhá kapitola je provázána s kapitolou třetí a popisuje vybraná témata z finančního vzdělávání, na základě kterých byly vytvořeny didaktické výstupy a materiály pro výuku FG na ZŠ. Tyto materiály byly pilotovány ve výuce na MZŠ Hnojník společně se vstupním a výstupním testem po probrání zadaného učiva, který je závěrečným vyhodnocením účelnosti těchto materiálů.

Abstract:

The primary objective of the thesis The Formation Of Methodological Materials Of Financial Literacy In Primary Schools is to develop didactic materials for teaching financial literacy within seven lessons in primary schools, with a particular emphasis on selected topics. The first chapter introduces key concepts such as financial literacy and financial education, examines the evolution of financial education in the Czech Republic, and assesses the current state of financial literacy within primary schools. The thesis also looks into the standards of financial literacy and their revised version. At the end of the theoretical part, it shows how financial literacy is conceived in the RVP ZV (Framework Educational Program for Primary Schools) and in the SVP (School Educational Program) of Hnojník Primary School. The second chapter is linked to the third chapter and describes selected topics from financial education based on which didactic outputs and materials were created for teaching financial literacy in primary schools. These materials were subsequently piloted in Hnojník Primary School, and their effectiveness was evaluated through entry and final tests administered after the completion of all seven lessons.
