Tato diplomová práce se zabývá migrací a jejími možnými dopady na státy a obyvatelstvo. V teoretické části je provedena rešerše literatury, vysvětlení základních pojmů a nástin historických migračních vln. V praktické části jsou rozepsány možná rizika migrační vlny, provedeny analýzy a statistika migrační vlny, která vyvrcholila v roce 2015.
