The influence of the British policy in Palestine on the weakening of British position in the Middle East in 1945 – 1956
Abstract:
Britské impérium vstoupilo na Blízký východ krátce před pádem Osmanské říše a zůstalo významným aktérem v této oblasti dalších padesát let. Jedním z kroků jejího působení v oblasti byl zisk Palestiny pod mandátní správu. Tato práce zkoumá, jakým způsobem politika v mandátní Palestině ovlivnila britskou pozici v celé oblasti Blízkého východu.
Abstract:
British Empire entered the Near East shortly before the fall of the Ottoman Empire and remained an important actor in this area for fifty years. Securing the Administration of Palestine Mandate was one of the most influential steps in the area. This work examines, how the mandate policy in Palestine influenced British position in the Middle East.
