Health Risks in Preschool Children Exercising on Aerial Silks

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zdravotními riziky, která mohou být spojena s cvičením na Aerial Silks u předškolních dětí. Cílem práce je zhodnotit a popsat potenciální nebezpečí, která mohou při cvičení Aerial Silks nastat, a navrhnout opatření k minimalizaci těchto rizik. Při výzkumu byly použity kvalitativní metody, jako jsou rozhovory s odborníky a pozorování cvičení dětí na Aerial Silks. Na hodinách tréninku jsem pozorovala skupiny dětí ve věku 4-8 let za dohledu certifikované trenérky, která trénuje Aerial Silks nyní přes 4 roky. Počet dětí se pokaždé lišil, ale většinou se jednalo o skupinu 3-10 dětí. Zjištěné výsledky ukázaly, že existují různá zdravotní rizika, jako jsou zranění, únava, pády a přetížení svalů a kloubů. Na základě získaných poznatků byly navrženy tři bezpečnostní opatření. Prvním je zajištění adekvátního prostředí, druhé správná technika cvičení a za třetí dostatečná fyzická příprava dětí. Tyto opatření by měly být implementovány při výuce Aerial Silks u předškolních dětí, aby se minimalizovalo riziko zranění. Zavedení adekvátních opatření může pomoci minimalizovat rizika spojená s touto aktivitou a zároveň umožnit dětem využít prospěšných účinků ze cvičení na fyzickou kondici a koordinaci.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the health risks that may be associated with the practice of Aerial Silks in preschool children. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and describe the potential dangers that may occur during the Aerial Silks exercise, and to propose measures to minimize these risks. Qualitative methods such as interviews with experts and observation of children practicing Aerial Silks were used in the research. During the training classes, I observed groups of children aged 4-8 under the supervision of a certified trainer who has been training Aerial Silks for over 4 years now. The number of children varied each time, but it was usually a group of 3-10 children. The results found showed that there are various health risks such as injuries, fatigue, falls and overloading of muscles and joints. Based on the knowledge gained, three security measures were proposed. The first is the provision of an adequate environment, the second is the correct exercise technique and the third is sufficient physical preparation of children. These precautions should be implemented when teaching Aerial Silks to preschoolers to minimize the risk of injury. Implementing adequate measures can help minimize the risks associated with this activity while allowing children to benefit from the beneficial effects of exercise on physical fitness and coordination.
