Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce odpovídá na otázku, jak vést výuku o náboženstvích, konkrétně islámu, na středních školách, aby byla v souladu s metodami a postupy religionistiky jako akademického studia o náboženstvích a zároveň splňovala požadavky a cíle průřezového tématu multikulturní výchova. Práce je tvořena dvěma částmi, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na dvě témata. Prvním tématem je, jak metodologicky uchopit výuku o náboženstvích na středních školách. Druhé téma reflektuje koncepty, které ovlivňují poznání, porozumění, studium, veřejné narace a výuku o islámu, jako jsou etnocentrismus, orientalismus, sekularismus či politizace islámu. Ve druhé praktické části jsou nastíněny možné způsoby vedení výuky o náboženstvích prostřednictvím dvou didaktických aktivit, které reflektují problémy tematizované v teoretické části. První aktivita slouží jako úvod do studia kultur či religionistiky, neboť v ní jsou tematizovány základní metodologické požadavky, které by měly směřovat k, co možná nejvhodnější interpretaci, odlišných kultur a náboženství. Druhá aktivita je přímo zaměřena na dílčí téma spojené s islámem, při které získají studenti základní přehled o islámských tradicích a dějinách, ale také si osvojí základy vědecké práce, interpretaci získaných informací, práci s informačními zdroji a jejich kritické hodnocení.

Abstract:

The Master’s thesis answers the question of how to teach about religions, particular Is-lam, at secondary schools to conform to the methods and practices of academic study of religions and simultaneously accomplish the requirements and objectives of cross-sectional topic of multicultural education. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theo-retical part focuses on two themes. The first topic is how to methodologically grasp the tea-ching of religions at secondary schools. The second theme reflects concepts that affect know-ledge, understanding, study, narrative and teaching about Islam, such as ethnocentrism, orien-talism, secularism or politicization of Islam. In the second practical part are outlined possible ways of guiding religions teaching through two didactic activities that reflex the problems which are stated in the theoretical part. The first activity serves as an intoduction to the study of cultures or religions because the basic methodological requirements are addressed, which should aim at the interpretation of different cultures and religions. The second activity focuses directly on a sub-theme related to Islam where students acquire a basic insight of Islamic tra-ditions and history, but also they learn the basics of scientific work, interpret the information, work with information resouces and critically evaluace them.
