Web Application to Manage Digital Certificates Requests

Abstract:

Na Internetu je třeba chránit citlivá data (např. přihlašovací údaje) při přenosu před potencionálními útočníky, kteří by se mohli pokusit tyto informace získat. Proto se data před odesláním do sítě šifrují, aby je mohl přečíst pouze oprávněný příjemce. Na Masarykově univerzitě je provozováno mnoho služeb, které s citlivými daty pracují. Je zde tedy velké množství digitálních certifikátů používaných na serverech pro šifrování komunikace. Tato práce se snaží usnadnit proces schvalování žádostí o digitální certifikát na MU a eliminovat tak papírování, které podání žádosti doposud provází, přenesením agendy do prostředí webové aplikace.

Abstract:

On the internet, private data (e.g. logins) is needed to be protected against potential attackers who may tend to gather such an information. For this reason, the data are being encrypted, to be readable only by authorized persons. At MU, lots of services being provided are working with the private data, so that there is a great number of digital certificates that are used for encryption on servers. The purpose of this thesis is to simplify the authorization process of digital-certificate requests at MU, and to prevent the users from unnecessary paper-administration, that used to go with the requests until these days, by transforming the agenda into new web application environment.
