PLC programming for measurement and data evaluation

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou programů pro měření a vyhodnocování naměřených dat. Práce byla zpracována v kontextu on-line diagnostiky pro elektrické stroje, přičemž jejím hlavním cílem je akvizice klíčových provozních veličin, jejich vizualizace a následné vyhodnocení. Práce obsahuje základní informace o technické diagnostice v oblasti elektrických strojů a možných přístupech jejího provádění. Dále jsou diskutovány modely stárnutí za účelem určení zbývající životnosti zařízení v závislosti na různých degradačních faktorech. Jako hlavní degradační faktor byla zvolena teplota, čímž byly určeny jako hlavní provozní signály průběhy teplot v různých lokacích elektrického stroje. Akvizice a vizualizace těchto signálů i jejich vyhodnocení formou alarmů byla provedena prostřednictvím PLC systému sestaveného v požadovaném rozsahu s vhodně zvolenými senzory. Nad rámec zadání byla určována zbytková životnost v reálném čase na základě mocninného modelu tepelného stárnutí a byla provedena příprava ukládání záznamu dat.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the creation of programs for measuring and evaluating measured data. The work was processed in the context of real-time diagnostics for electrical machines, while its main goal is the acquisition of key operating variables, their visualization and subsequent evaluation. The thesis contains basic information about technical diagnostics in the field of electrical machines and possible approaches to its implementation. Next, aging models are discussed to determine the remaining useful life depending on various degradation factors. The temperature was chosen as the main degredation factor. Therefore, the main operating signals were temperatures, measured in various locations of the electric machine. Acquisition and visualization of these signals, as well as their evaluation in the form of alarms, was performed by means of a~PLC system assembled to the required scope with suitable selected sensors. In addition to the assignment, the residual life in real time was determined on the basis of a~power model of thermal aging, and the preparation of data recording was performed.
