Práce čtenáře seznamuje se situací v oblasti poskytování IT služeb a jejich závislosti na zdrojích. Definuje zdroje a uvádí příklady z oblasti IT. Popisuje katalog služeb, co obsahuje a k čemu se využívá a jak by se dal rozšířit pro práci se zdroji. This thesis introduces the reader into the situation of IT service providing and its dependency on resources. It defines resources and and supplies the reader with selected examples from the field of IT. It describes a service catalog, what it contains, what's its use and how it could be expanded for including resource informations.
