The current financial crisis - the reason, the state and the possibilities of overcoming

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozborem příčin, současným stavem a možným budoucím vývojem a možnostmi překonání současné finanční krize. V rozboru příčin je důraz kladen na nalezení jedné hlavní příčiny, která ovlivňovala či byla ovlivněna dalšími příčinami. Současný stav je demonstrován na příkladech několika z nejvíce postižených zemí Evropské unie. Odhad budoucího vývoje je proveden na základě nejaktuálnějších makroekonomických dat s ohledem na předchozí vývoj. Možnosti překonání jsou zahrnuty v preventivních opatřeních Mezinárodního měnového fondu a Světové banky a v opatřeních přijatých v souvislosti se současnou finanční krizí ze strany Evropské unie a Spojených států amerických v letech 2009 až 2010. Nejaktuálnější opatření přijatá v souvislosti se současnou finanční krizí byla hlavním cílem této práce. Jako určitá alternativa k současnému bankovnímu systému je nabídnut nástin nového bankovního systém navrhnutého autorem Jesús Huerta de Soto v knize Peníze, banky a hospodářské krize.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with analysis of the causes, the current state and the possible future development and the possibilities of overcoming of the current financial crisis. In analyzing the causes, the emphasis is on finding one main cause, which influenced or was influenced by other causes. The current situation is demonstrated on several examples of the most affected countries of the European Union. Estimated future development is based on the latest macroeconomic data with regard to the previous development. Possibilities of overcomimg are included in the preventive measures of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank as well as in the measures accepted in the connection with the current financial crisis by the European Union and the United States of America during the years 2009 and 2010. The most recent measures accepted in connection with the current financial crisis was the main objective of the thesis. The new banking system created by Jesús Huerta de Soto in his publication Money, banking and economic crisis is offered as an alternative to the current banking system.
