The thesis includes interviews with the author which serves to clarify why has she dealt with the topic of slavery. Diplomová práce se zabývá dílem afroamericke autorky Toni Morrisonové. Důraz je kladen zejména na její dva romány o otroctví, Milovaná Milosrdenství. Práce zahrnuje rozohovory s autorkou, které slouží k objasnění, proš se aur¨torka tématu věnovala..
