Evaluation of marketing activities of economically affected region - district Most

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na jeden z nejproblematičtějších regionů v České republice, konkrétně na vyhodnocení marketingových aktivit hospodářsky postiženého regionu - okresu Most. Práce je rozdělena na úvod, teoretickou část, praktickou část a závěr. V samém úvodu práce je popsán celkový obsah a zaměření této diplomové práce. Teoretická část obsahuje 4 kapitoly, které se zaměřují na popis a vymezení marketingu, dále na popis marketingových nástrojů – marketingového mixu „4P“, Place branding neboli marketing destinací a marketing ve veřejné správě – veřejném sektoru. Praktická část této práce je zaměřena na vyhodnocení marketingových aktivit hospodářsky postiženého regionu - okresu Most, popisuje také jeho historii a turistické zajímavosti současnosti pro detailní utvoření představy o regionu. V praktické části je za pomoci metody dotazníkového šetření zjišťováno hodnocení těchto aktivit a jejich vnímání obyvateli regionu. Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je vyhodnocení marketingových aktivit aktérů, působících v okrese Most, jakož i zjištění, jak lidé vnímají život v okrese Most, ale také co považují v daném okrese za pozitivní či negativní a jaké památky, areály nebo akce považují z marketingového hlediska za významné pro potencionální návštěvníky Mostecka.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on one of the most problematic regions in the Czech Republic, specifically on the evaluation of marketing activities of the economically affected region - district Most. This thesis is divided into introduction, theoretical part, practical part and conclusion. In the very beginning of the thesis is described the overall content and focus of this thesis. The theoretical part contains 4 chapters, which focus on the description and definition of marketing, as well as on the description of marketing tools - marketing mix "4P", Place branding or destination marketing and marketing in public administration - public sector. The practical part of this work is focused on the evaluation of marketing activities of the economically affected region - district Most, this part also describes its history and present tourist attractions to form an idea about the region. In the practical part, with the help of the questionnaire survey method, the evaluation of these marketing activities and their affect on the respondents. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the marketing activities of actors operating in the district Most. The questionnaire survey also finds out how people evaluate life in this district, but also what they consider positive or negative in the district and what monuments, areas or events they consider from a marketing point of view, important for potential visitors of district Most.
