Stance of the pupil with mild mental retardation at the primary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá postavením žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením v základní škole. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola zahrnuje definici mentálního postižení, jeho etiologii, klasifikaci, jednotlivé stupně mentálního postižení a specifika ve vzdělávání žáků s mentálním postižením. Druhá kapitola se zabývá současnými legislativními opatřeními k dané problematice, představuje Rámcový vzdělávací program pro základní vzdělávání, Školní vzdělávací program a pojednává také o pedagogicko-psychologických poradenských službách. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na podpůrná opatření pro žáky s mentálním postižením, individuální vzdělávací plán a službu asistenta pedagoga. Závěrečná kapitola je zaměřena na analýzu výzkumného šetření, které se zabývá postavením žáka s lehkým mentálním postižením v třídním kolektivu, zjišťuje názory třídních učitelů, asistentů pedagoga, žáků s lehkým mentálním postižením i jejich rodičů. Pro toto šetření byla použita kvalitativní metoda, s použitím techniky sociometrických testů, strukturovaný rozhovor a pozorování.

Abstract:

The master thesis is about the status of schoolchildren with a light mental disability in the elementary school. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter includes the definition of the mental disability, its etiology, classification, various stages of mental disability and its specific features in the education of children with such a mental disability. Chapter two describes the current legislative measures referring to the given problem, it represents the framework program for elementary schools, the school educational program and it also describes the pedagogic-psychological advisory services. The targets of the third chapter are the measures for students with mental disability, individual educational plans and the services of a pedagogical assistant. The final chapter describes the analysis of the research surveys, which deals with the status of the student with a light mental disability in the class, identifies the opinions of the teacher, the pedagogical assistant, and of the students with light mental disability and their parents. The qualitative method was used for this investigation, with the usage of the sociometric tests technique, structured dialogue and observation.
