Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na nově vzniklou legislativu, která byla vytvořena v důsledku nedávné finanční krize. Zásadní částí práce je role, kterou OTC deriváty sehrály ve finančním světě v letech 2007 – 2008 a s tím související kroky, které byly podniknuty jednak pro zmírnění důsledku krize, ale i jako prevence. This bachelor thesis is focused on creation of the new regulation made as a response to the recent financial crisis. The essential part of this work is the role that OTC derivatives played in financial world during years 2007 – 2008 and related measures that were taken as a mitigation of consequences of the crisis as well as prevention to another similar crisis.
