The perception of one's own criminal behavior by a juvenile offender

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na kriminální vývoj mladistvého jedince a na analýzu zkušeností při něm získaných. Cílem teoretické části je vymezit základní pojmy vztahující se k hlavnímu cíli práce, charakterizovat znaky, motivy a strukturu kriminality mládeže, popsat podmínky kriminálního jednání a analyzovat jeho příčiny. Součástí této části práce je také popis činnosti a úloh typického školního poradenského pracoviště, zejména ve vztahu k žákům dopouštějícím se protiprávního jednání, tj. popis zásadní instituce v prevenci kriminality mládeže. Hlavním cílem práce a cílem praktické části je zmapování kriminální kariéry mladistvého jedince a analýza jeho postojů, ovlivněných a vyplývajících z jeho kriminální kariéry. Cíle bylo dosaženo realizací průzkumného šetření, v rámci kterého byl použit kvalitativní výzkumný přístup a design případové studie, orientované na detailní popis životní dráhy kriminálně aktivního jedince.

Abstract:

The Bachelor Thesis focuses on the criminal development of a juvenile and on the analysis of his experience gained on this way. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the basic terms related to the main goal of the thesis, to characterize the specifics, motives and structure of juvenile delinquency, to describe the conditions of criminal behaviour and to analyse its causes. Included into this part of the thesis there is also a description of the activities and tasks of a typical school counselling centre, especially in relation to pupils committing illegal behaviour, i.e. description of a fundamental institution in the prevention of juvenile delinquency. The main aim of the work and the aim of the practical part of the Thesis is to map the criminal career of a juvenile and to analyse his attitudes, influenced and resulting from his criminal career. The goal was achieved by conducting a survey, which used a qualitative research approach and case study design, focused on a detailed description of the life path of a criminally active individual.
