Design and development of an adaptive neurorehabilitation system to train of the brain cognitive functions

Abstract:

Tato disertační práce se zabývá návrhem a vývojem neurorehabilitačního systému pro pacienty v časných stádiích léčby a akutním poškozením mozku. Protože v současnosti není proces neurorehabilitace v časných stádiích léčby nějak metodicky ukotven, proto je hlavní cíl práce v návrhu a implementaci celého systému včetně metod umělé inteligence, které na míru každému pacientovi navrhují a upravují celý proces jeho neurorehabilitační cesty od samotného vzniku úrazu a počátku neurorehabilitačního procesu. Celý koncept neurorehabilitace byl diskutován s odborníky z FNO Ostrava a je v současnosti nasazen a testován na vybraných jedincích nejen na oddělení KARIM, ale i v běžné ambulantní péči na neurologické klinice FNO Ostrava. Disertační práce představuje nejen samotný návrh metod umělé inteligence, ale i celý neuorehabiliační systém včetně manuálu a zdrojových kódů.

Abstract:

This dissertation deals with the design and development of a neurorehabilitation system for patients in the early stages of treatment and acute brain injury. Since the neurorehabilitation process in the early stages of treatment is not methodically anchored at present, the main goal of the work is to design and implement the entire system, including artificial intelligence methods that exactly adjust the entire process of the patient's neurorehabilitation journey from the begining of the injury and the beginning of the neurorehabilitation process. The entire concept of neurorehabilitation has been discussed with experts from FNO Ostrava and is currently deployed and tested on selected individuals not only in the KARIM department but also in regular outpatient care at the neurological clinic of FNO Ostrava. The dissertation presents not only the design of artificial intelligence methods but also the entire neurorehabilitation system, including a manual and source code.
