Práce je zaměřena na problematiku volby budoucího povolání a střední školy žáků devátých tříd s ohledem na socioekonomický vývoj regionu Mladá Boleslav. Cílem je zjistit, jaké faktory a důvody ovlivňují žáky při výběru budoucí střední školy a povolání a zda jedním z těchto důvodů je i socioekonomické postavení regionu, v němž žijí.
