Animated cartoon as means of creative expression of mental disabilities people

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na tvůrčí práci s marginalizovanými dospělými osobami s lehkým mentálním hendikepem, které navštěvují Centrum denních služeb v Litoměřicích. Tématem práce je zkoumání možností užití výtvarné tvorby ve formě animačních postupů jako prostředku pro rozvoj jedince v oblastech: kognitivních, sociálních a tvůrčích. Teoretická část práce se zabývá stručnou historií animace, jejím uplatněním a kontextem ve výtvarné výchově. Dále také specifickými způsoby percepce a produkce tvorby mentálně hendikepovaných, autorskými přístupy i specifiky v metodách a formách práce výtvarného edukátora/lektora. Druhá část, a též praktická, obsahuje návrh konkrétních výtvarných lekcí, spolu s popisem a zhodnocením jejich konkrétní realizace. Finálním výstupem práce klientů je krátký videoklip, který je výsledkem skupinové práce prostřednictvím techniky ploškové animace a je doprovázen autorskou hudební tvorbou klientů.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on creative work with marginalized mentally disabled adults who attend Day care centre for disabled people in Litoměřice. The topic of my work is an investigation of possibilities of using an art creation in terms of animated methods as means of the development of an individual in the cognitive and social and creative areas. Theoretical part deals with a short history of animated cartoon and its application in art lessons. Moreover, it describes specific ways of perception and production of the creation of mental disabilities people. In addition to that, it focuses on specific approaches of authors and specific methods and forms of an art educator approaches. The empirical part contains propositions of particular art lessons along with their description and evaluation. Final output of client's work is a short video clip, the result of group work using cutout animation. Also an original client's music production plays an important part of the art work.
