Comparison of access to innovative treatment in Slovakia and Czech Republic and comparison of entry of drugs into reimbursement system of each country
Abstract:
The aim of this work was to compare the approach to innovative drugs in Slovakia and Czechia and to compare the complexity of entering drugs into the reimbursement system. We analyzed newly registered drugs in breast and lung cancer indications over a time horizon of 11 years and compared the access to these drugs in both countries. Cieľom tejto práce bolo porovnať prístup k inovatívnym liekom na Slovensku a v Českej republike a taktiež porovnať zložitosť vstupu liekov do systému úhrad v týchto štátoch. Zanalyzovali sme novoregistrované lieky v indikáciách karcinómu prsníka a pľúc v časovom horizonte 11 rokov a porovnali sme prístup k týmto liekom v oboch štátoch.
