Analysis of the Wine Market in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

NAGINA, Anisa. Analýza trhu vína v ČR. [Bakalářská práce] Vysoká škola hotelová. Praha: 2018. Celkový počet stran: 59. Primárním cílem bakalářské práce je nastínit současný stav trhu vína v ČR, konkrétně ze strany nabídky a poptávky, a odhalit hlavní činitele ovlivňující objem nabízené produkce a úroveň poptávky po víně. Sekundárním cílem je uvést všechny hlavní producenty vína v České republice a odhadnout typ tržní struktury. Práce je rozdělená na tři části. První teoretická část vymezuje a vysvětluje základní ekonomické pojmy tykající se problematiky tématu, jako například trh, nabídka, poptávka a konkurence. V této části bude představená regulace tržních vztahů a analýza spotřeby. Analytická část obsahuje rozdělení České republiky na vinařské oblasti a podoblasti a odrůdovou skladba tuzemského vinařství. Dále jou rozebrány finanční podpory a vinařské spolky. Následuje uvedení hlavních producentů vína včetně podílu malých podniků a odhad tržní struktury. Součástí výkladu je i enoturistika. Nakonec se táto část zabývá zhodnocením trhu s vínem v ČR ze strany nabídky a poptávky. Poslední návrhová část obsahuje návrhy na zlepšení stávající situace na trhu s vínem. Při vypracování bakalářské práce byly využity metodiky analýzy, syntézy, dedukce, komparace, matematicko-statistické metody a literární rešerše.

NAGINA, Anisa. Analysis of the Wine Market in the Czech Republic. [Bachelors dissertation] The Institute of Hospitality Management in Prague 8, Ltd. Prague: 2018. Total number of pages: 59. The primary aim of this bachelor thesis is to outline the current state of the wine market in the Czech Republic, namely supply and demand, and to reveal the main factors influencing the volume of production offered and the level of demand for wine. The secondary objective is to list all major wine producers in the Czech Republic and to estimate the type of market structure. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first theoretical part defines and explains the basic economic concepts of the topic, such as market, supply, demand and competition. In this part will be introduced the regulation of market relations and consumption analysis. The analytical part includes the division of the Czech Republic into the wine-growing regions and sub-areas and the varietal composition of the domestic winery. In addition, financial support and wine associations are dismantled. This is followed by the introduction of the main wine producers including the share of small businesses and the estimation of the market structure. Enotourism is also a part of the interpretation. Finally, this part deals with the evaluation of the wine market in the Czech Republic by supply and demand. The last part contains proposals to improve the current situation in the wine market. The methodology of analysis, synthesis, deduction, comparison, mathematical-statistical methods and literary research were used during the elaboration of the bachelor thesis.
