Causes and reasons for family split ups in the Ostrava region and its implications on the following development of relationships within family members

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se věnuji otázce manželství a s ní související instituci rozvodu a jeho důsledků pro další vývoj dětí vyrůstajících v neúplných rodinách. Toto téma jsem si vybral z důvodu nárůstu indexu rozvodovosti a negativního dopadu na vývoj dětí, mládeže a následně i celé společnosti. Práci jsem rozdělil dvou kapitol teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části se věnuji vymezení základních pojmů rodina manželství, rozvod, zákonná ustanovení rozvodu a porovnáním statistického vývoje rozvodovosti v posledních letech, včetně srovnání sňatečnosti a rozvodovosti v České republice a ostatních zemích Evropské unie. Stěžejním úkolem této práce je její praktická část v níž se zabývám jednak otázkami týkající se příčin samotného rozvodu a jednak otázkami důsledků rozvodu na rodinu a vývoj dětí vyrůstajících v této rodině. Pro potřeby výzkumu jsem sestavil dotazník 16-ti otázek, kdy výsledky jsou prezentovány v přehledných tabulkách a grafech.

Abstract:

I address my thesis to the question of marriage and its relationship with the institution of divorce and the consequence for the subsequent development of children who grow up in incomplete families. I have chosen this topic for reasons of the increasing index of divorces and the negative impact on children and young people´s development and on our society. The thesis is separated into 2 chapters, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is addressed to the definition of the essential conceptions as family, marriage, divorce, statutory regulations of divorce and comparing the divorce statistic development in recent years including the comparison of the marriage rate and divorce rate in the Czech Republic and in other EU countries. The pivot of this thesis is its practical part in which I deal with the questions regarding to the cause of the divorce and the consequences of the divorce on the family and children´s development and growing up in this family. I have drafted a questionnaire of 16 questions for research needs where the results are presented in general tables and graphs.
