Food as a way for intercultural education

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá konceptem „International dinners“ v rámci interkulturního poznávání. Teoretická část přináší pohled na oblasti související s tématem „International dinners“ jako je interkulturní výchova, kultura, komunita, zkušenostní učení – „Learing by doing“, rozvoj dovedností, oblast jídla a jeho aspektů, dále pak vzdělávání o jídle a jídlem v České republice i zahraničí a v neposlední řadě opření konceptu „International dinners“ o český Rámcově vzdělávací program. Praktická část se věnuje výzkumnému projektu, který využívá dílčí postupy zakotvené teorie, jako jsou otevřené a axiální kódování. Výzkum mapuje zkušenosti, osobnostní a interkulturní rozvoj, které měly „International dinners“ na studenty programu Erasmus plus na jejich zahraničním studijním pobytu v Dánsku a jejich pohled na přenesení konceptu „International dinners“ do budoucí praxe.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis Food as a way for intercultural education is focusing on concept of “International dinners” in the ambit of intercultural identification. Its theoretical part bring the view on fields connected with topic of “International dinners” as are intercultural education, culture, community, learning by doing, skills development, food area and its aspects, also food education in Czech republic, and foreign countries and finally ground concept “International dinners” on Czech Framework Education Programme. The practical part is devoted to the research project, which takes advantages of methods of the grounded theory as are open and axial coding. The research is trying to map experiences, personal and intercultural development, which had “International dinners” on a group of students studying abroad within the Erasmus plus program in Denmark and their point of view on transforming the concept of “International dinners” to the future praxis.
