Specifics of the International Trade with the State of Israel

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat mezinárodní obchod se Státem Izrael obecně a také s ohledem na specifika vůči ostatním státům. Téma mezinárodního obchodu je v úvodní kapitole rozebráno do dvou základních rovin, tedy obchodu a kulturních specifik. V obchodní části jsou zmíněny rizika, doprava, dodací a platební podmínky, vládní podpora a regulace obchodu, z kulturní části je poté dán zřetel na témata interkulturní komunikace, specifika izraelských obchodníků a izraelská kultura jako celek a její fungování. V další kapitole jsou navíc doplněny o kontext Státu Izrael. Cílem této kapitoly je vyzdvižení důležitých aspektů, které jsou pro obchodování právě s tímto státem stěžejní. Následně dochází k představení podniku, který s Izraelem obchoduje, přičemž ve stejné kapitole jsou izraelská obchodní a kulturní specifika analyzována v prostředí dříve zmíněného podniku. Výsledky této části a porovnání se zbytkem práce, včetně stanovení doporučení, se nachází v závěru. Tato práce by měla sloužit pro čtenáře jako stručný a zjednodušený návod pro obchodování s Izraelem a jejím předním účelem je shrnutí často roztroušených informací do jednoho kohezivního celku.

Abstract:

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse in general and also specifically the international trade with the State of Israel. That should be done from the cultural, as well as business point of view. In the part about trade, risks, transportation, commercial and payment terms, government support/regulations are all mentioned. In the cultural part, there is emphasis set on Israeli businessman profile, intercultural communication and Israeli culture in general. Two general topics, trade and culture, are analysed separately in the beginning. In addition, they are enhanced in the context of the State of Israel. The goal of this part is to highlight the aspects, which are essential for trade with this nation. After this there is an introduction of the companies, which together cooperate to trade with Israel and after that I analyse the cultural and trade specifics in the context of the business environment of the aforementioned companies. The results of the analysis, comparison with the rest of the thesis and recommendations are all summarised in the conclusion. This thesis should also serve the readers as a simplified how to trade with Israel guide, with all the important information gathered and intact.
