The object of this Thesis is the European Convention on International Commercial Arbitration. Forasmuch as the European Convention is not very used in the Czech Republic the aim of this Thesis is at least partially to analyse its selected provisions and state if the European Convention is nowadays still useful in the area of arbitration.
