The main scope of this thesis lies in the description and analysis of epistemic markers in the Italian Language. In the first part of the thesis there are the terms modalità and moda-lità epistemica defined and there is also mentioned how it can be expressed. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá popisem a analýzou epistemických markerů v italském jazyce. Jejím cílem bylo definovat, charakterizovat a následně také analyzovat tyto marke-ry. V první části práce se nachází definice termínu modalità a modalità epistemica a to, jakými jazykovými prostředky ji lze vyjádřit.
