Abstract:

Táto práca sa zameriava na návrh a implementáciu systému prototypu pre vizualizáciu veľkých datasetov obsahujúcich geopriestorové udalosti. Keďže geopriestorové udalosti zvyčajne nie sú rovnomerne rozložené na mape, je možné pozorovať oblasti, kde sa údaje často prekrývajú, čo môže viesť k ťažkej čitateľnosti vizualizácie. Táto práca najskôr skúma existujúce prístupy v geovizualizácí priestorových udalostí, ktoré môžu mať vysokú hustotu výskytu v určitých oblastiach na mape. Ďalej poskytuje možné riešenie na nájdenie takýchto oblastí s využitím spracovania obrazu. Dátové položky patriace do každej z objavených oblastí sú extrahované a spracované do interaktívnej agregovanej vizualizácie. Agregovaná vizualizácia by mala pomôcť používateľom lepšie pochopiť geovizualizáciu. V závere práce je prezentovaný prototyp geovizualizácie. V prototype sa ako dataset obsahujuci geopriestorové udalosti používa zber dopravných nehôd, ku ktorým došlo v Juhomoravskom kraji v Českej republike v roku 2018. Práca tiež stručne popisuje základy vývoja pomocou Vue.js a D3.js frameworkov spolu s MpboxGL a Vuex.

Abstract:

This work focuses on the design and implementation of prototype system for visualisation of large datasets containing geospatial events. Since geospatial events are usually not equally distributed on mapbase, one can observe areas where data items are frequently overlapping, which can lead to difficult readability of the visualisation. This thesis firstly reviews the existing approaches in geovisualisation of geospatial event data, that can have high density of occurrence in certain areas on map. Next, it provides possible solution to finding such areas with the use of image processing. The data items belonging to each of the discovered areas are extracted and processed into an interactive aggregated visualisation. The aggregated visualisation should help users understand the geovisualisation easier. Lastly, the thesis presents prototype of the geovisualisation. The collection of traffic accidents which happened in the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic in 2018 is used as dataset containing geospatial events in the prototype. This thesis also shortly describes the basics of development using Vue.js and D3.js frameworks with MpboxGL and Vuex.
