Development of an information system for the intellectual game „Mafia“ club

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je vytvoření informačního systému speciálně upraveného pro klub hry „Mafie“ za účelem optimalizace jeho činnosti a zlepšení interakce mezi jeho členy. Práce byla provedena pro další využití v klubu „Enigma“ v Praze. Po analýze potřeb klubu byl vytvořen chatbot v sociální síti Telegram, který pomáhá členům klubu s různými úkoly, včetně sledování rozvrhu, prohlížení jejich statistik a vyhledávání organizačních dokumentů. Telegramový bot má také systém odebírání notifikací. Druhou částí informačního systému bylo vytvoření webové aplikace s využitím frameworku Django, která slouží pracovníkům Enigmy pro správu interního života klubu, včetně archivace her a registrace nových členů. Pro údržbu tohoto systému byla zvolena služba v cloudu, v níž byl pronajat virtuální stroj. Poté byl nakonfigurován pro stabilní a bezpečný provoz. Závěrečnou částí práce bylo testování aplikace a posouzení perspektivy dalšího rozvoje informačního systému.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to create an information system specially adapted for the “Mafia” game club in order to optimize its activities and improve the interaction between its members. The work was carried out for further use in the “Enigma” club in Prague. After analyzing the needs of the club, a chatbot in the social network Telegram was created to help club members with various tasks, including tracking their schedule, viewing their statistics, and searching for organizational documents. The Telegram bot also has a notification subscription system. The second part of the information system was the creation of a web application using the Django framework, which is used by Enigma staff to manage the internal life of the club, including archiving games and registering new members. A cloud-based service was chosen to maintain this system, in which a virtual machine was rented. It was then configured for stable and secure operation. The final part of the work was to test the application and assess the prospects for further development of the information system.
