Diplomová práce se zabývá novopohanským hnutím Wicca, jeho historií i současností. Vysvětluje pojmy nová náboženská hnutí, pohanství a novopohanství. Věnuje se kořenům hnutí Wicca i jeho moderním dějinám. Není opomenuta ani postava zakladatele tohoto hnutí ve 20. století, Geralda Gardnera. Nejvíce pozornosti je věnováno praxi hnutí Wicca. Diloma work deal with the neopagan Wicca society, the history and also the present days of it. It explains the meaning of words new religious movements, paganists and neopaganists. There is written about roots of this society and also about the modern history. There isn?t omit the personality of the founder of the modern Wicca society, Gerald Gardner.
