The First Reading´s Books in a Pre-Reader´s Reception

Abstract:

Diplomová práce si klade za cíl dokázat, že knihy tradiční edice První čtení patřící pod nakladatelství Albatros je možné a vhodné využívat nejen pro začínající čtenáře, ale také pro děti mladší, předškolní, tedy předčtenáře. První kapitola této práce představuje samotnou edici, její historii, specifické prvky vztahující se k primární cílové skupině čtenářů, dále také autorské zastoupení a neopomíná ani žánrovou a tematickou strukturu. Druhá část práce se věnuje předčtenářům, jakožto skupině dětí předškolního věku, kteří ještě většinou samostatně číst neumí, ale jako posluchači by rovněž mohli být vhodnými příjemci titulů edice První čtení. Poslední, třetí kapitola bude analyzovat čtyři konkrétní knihy z edice První čtení. Při analýze bude brán zřetel na aspekty, které je vhodné zohlednit při výběru literatury pro skupinu předčtenářů. Součástí analýzy jednotlivých knih bude také nabídka několika didakticky zacílených činností zařaditelných do práce v předškolních institucích.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to prove that books out of The First Reading edition made by Albatros publishing house can be used not only by the early readers, but also by younger, pre-school kids, so called pre-readers. The first chapter of the thesis presents The First Reading edition, its history, specific features of the edition with regard to the focus group of readers. It also gets aquainted with authors, genres and topics that can be found in these books. The second part of the thesis is dedicated to pre-readers, as a group of kids in a pre-school age, who are usually not able to read on their own, but as for being a listeners of adults loud reading, they might also be possible recipients of The First Readings books. The third chapter analyses four chosen books from the edition which was specified on the aspects important when choosing books for pre-readers. As a part of the analysis, there are several complementary and educational activities made specificaly to be used when working with these books in pre-school education.
