Influence of child nutrition in first year of life on the gut microbial composition development.

Abstract:

První rok života je kritickým obdobím pro tvorbu střevní mikroflóry a špatné osídlení může vést k přechodným i trvalým zdravotním problémům. Je tedy důležité porozumět, jak různé faktory řídí kolonizaci těla mikroorganismy. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá jedním s nejdůležitějších faktorů ovlivňujících vývoj střevního mikrobiomu, a to stravou. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vlivu složení nutrice na složení střevního mikrobiomu jednoho dítěte v průběhu prvního roku života. V teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na základní informace v problematice střevního mikrobiomu, dále pak nastudovala práci s kompozičními daty , jejich úpravu a následnou analýzu. Další část byla zaměřená na analýzu dat bakteriálního složení a jejich základní charakteristiku. Výsledky mé práce pak poukazují na fakt, že střevní mikrobiom koreluje s nutricí.

Abstract:

The first year of life is a critical period for the formation of intestinal microflora, and poor settlement can lead to temporary and permanent health problems. Thus, it is important to understand how various factors control the colonization of the body by microorganisms. This bachelor's thesis deals with one of the most important factors influencing the development of the intestinal microbiome, namely diet. This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of the influence of nutritional composition on the composition of the gut microbiome of one child during the first year of life. In the theoretical part, I focused on basic information on the issue of the intestinal microbiome, then studied work with compositional data, their modification and subsequent analysis. The next part was focused on the analysis of bacterial composition data and their basic characteristics. The results of my work point to the fact that the intestinal microbiome is correlated with nutrition.
