Activities of drama education and diagnostics of pre-primary children

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá možnosti propojení dramatické výchovy a pedagogické diagnostiky. Konkrétněji se jedná o využití metod dramatické výchovy ke sledování projevů dětí. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část definuje základní pojmy zpracovávané problematiky. První kapitola se zabývá nástinem preprimárního vzdělávání a vysvětlením pojmu dramatické výchovy, a v závěru ukazuje prolnutí těchto dvou oblastí. Druhá kapitola se zabývá metodami a technikami dramatické výchovy a tím, jakou roli má zde učitel. Třetí kapitola vysvětluje pedagogickou diagnostiku. Ve čtvrté kapitole bakalářská práce ukazuje možnosti využití dramatické výchovy při provádění pedagogické diagnostiky. Posledně zmiňovanému se věnuje dále praktická část práce. K průzkumu, zda a jakým způsobem je možné výše uvedené provádět, byla využita případová studie. Realizace souboru aktivit a interview s učitelkou přinesla zjištění, že děti tímto způsobem diagnostikovat lze, a to i bez jejich předchozích zkušenosti s dramatickou výchovou. Dále si kladlo šetření za cíl potvrdit, zda lze diagnostikovat metodami dramatické výchovy všechny sledované oblasti diagnostiky. Až na oblast tělesného vývoje a zdravotního stavu se jednalo o kladný výsledek.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis explores the possibilities of combining drama education and pedagogical diagnostics. In particular, it concerns the use of drama education methods to monitor children's behaviour. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of the issue. The first chapter deals with an introduction to pre-primary education and an explanation of the concept of drama education, aiming to show the intersection of these two areas. The second chapter deals with the methods and techniques of drama education and the role of the teacher. The third chapter explains pedagogical diagnosing. shows the possibilities of using drama education in conducting pedagogical diagnosing. The latter is further discussed in the practical part of the thesis. A case study was used to explore whether and how the above can be carried out. The implementation of a set of activities and an interview with a teacher led to the finding that it is possible to diagnose children in this way, even without their previous experience with drama education. Furthermore, the research aimed to confirm whether all of the diagnostic areas under consideration can be diagnosed using drama education methods. With the exception of the areas of physical development and health, this proved to be a true result.
