In the bachelor thesis I deal with the formation, development and impact of Puritanism on Great Britain. I pay close attention to the background, circumstances and roots of this powerful religious movement, its character as well as social and religious impact on the whole society. Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se zabývám vznikem, vývojem a dopadem puritanismu na Velkou Británii. Blíže zkoumám pozadí, okolnosti a kořeny tohoto vlivného náboženského hnutí, jeho charakter a také sociální a náboženský vliv na celou společnost. Snažím se objektivně popsat klady a zápory tohoto hnutí a zjistit, co z jeho dřívějšího mocného vlivu přetrvalo do dnešní doby.
