Possibilities of vocational rehabilitation for people with mental disabilities in the Moravian-Silesian Region

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi pracovní rehabilitace u osob s mentálním postižením v Moravskoslezském kraji, přičemž je rozdělena na dvě elementární části, tedy na část teoretickou a praktickou. Obsahem části teoretické jsou tři kapitoly, první kapitola se zabývá možnostmi pracovního uplatnění osob s mentálním postižením společně s vymezením charakteristických znaků, jež jsou pro mentální postižení typické. Ve druhé kapitole pak dochází k vymezení aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti a jejich opatření či nástrojů, jež na území ČR cílí na integraci osob se zdravotním postižením na trh práce. Třetí kapitola se pak zabývá hlavním tématem této bakalářské práce, tedy pracovní rehabilitací, přičemž dochází k její bližší charakteristice z oblasti jejího poskytování. Cílem výzkumné části pak je zjistit, jaké jsou bariéry v oblasti využívání pracovní rehabilitace u osob s mentálním postižením v Moravskoslezském kraji očima jejích poskytovatelů. Ona výzkumná část je pak finální částí této bakalářské práce, její realizace je postavena na strategii kvalitativního výzkumu a metodě tematické analýzy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of vocational rehabilitation for people with mental disabilities in the Moravian-Silesian region, and is divided into two elementary parts, i.e. the theoretical and practical part. The content of the theoretical part consists of three chapters, the first chapter deals with the possibilities of employment of people with mental disabilities together with the definition of the characteristics typical for mental disabilities. The second chapter defines the active employment policy and its measures or instruments aimed at the integration of people with disabilities into the labour market in the Czech Republic. The third chapter then deals with the main topic of this bachelor thesis, i.e. vocational rehabilitation, with a more detailed characterisation of its provision. The aim of the research part is then to find out what are the barriers in the field of using vocational rehabilitation for people with mental disabilities in the Moravian-Silesian Region in the eyes of their providers. The research part is then the final part of this bachelor thesis, its implementation is based on a qualitative research strategy and its method of thematic analysis.
